I began to learn the piano as a child, moving on to the saxophone in my early teens. From a young age I knew I wanted my career to be in Music and so I moved to Glasgow to study a B.A. in Applied Music at Strathclyde University. It was during this time that my interest in composing for media bloomed.
Over the years I have gradually accumulated and improved the gear I use, both hardware and software. I currently run on a Windows 7 setup using both Ableton Live and Cubase Pro 8. I have an array of sounds ranging from state of the art orchestral instruments, to synths and effects from developers such as Spitfire Audio, Embertone, Impact Soundworks, Soundiron, HybridTwo, Native Instruments, Best Service, Cinesamples and others. Being a piano player, I find the use of a fully weighted 88 key keyboard is very useful, for which I currently have an Arturia Keylab 88. I use a small Focusrite 2i2 audio interface and Audio Technica M50X headphones and Genelec 8020C studio monitors to hear everything.
